Be sure to stop by the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge visitor's
center for a listing of recent unusual sightings.

Don't forget to pack and use your insect repellent. The insects have
not been too bad recently but they can be annoying.

Regards, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To: Subject:March Visit Hello-- As a fellow birder from New York State who will be visiting Florida in March, I was delighted to visit your Central Florida Bird Watcher's Page. I'm particularly interested in visiting the Merritt Refuge, which I've not been to before. And I note that it's starred on the calendar of the Tropical Audubon Society fro the 5th through the 7th of March which will be just about the time we'll be in Florida. Would it be too much to ask you what birds will be of special interest then? Other areas are also starred on that calendar. Does that mean they too are choice spots for those days? Many thanks for any help you may provide.
