Bird Watching is a great hobby. It offers relaxation, education, the thrill of discovery, plus satisfaction when adding a brand new species to your life list. For me there is nothing more beautiful and satisfying than to witness mother nature at work.

There can be a great deal of excitement and anticipation and sometimes disappointment visiting a new location and leaving to chance your opportunity to see or photograph that great birding prize.

Central Florida has a great many excellent birding areas and each habitat may have that special species that is only available for limited times during the year. You can research the area before your visit, but if you do not know exactly where to go and where to look, chances are you may not see all there is to see.
