Mr. Blakey has been an active professional photographer since 1973. Early works include extensive portrait work, commercial catalogs, sports, theatrical and concert photo coverage, wedding and scientific photography.

Early free-time subjects were centered on outdoor landscapes, animals and birds. The love for nature and landscape photography has culminated in today's concentration on these subject matters.

Mr. Blakey has traveled and photographed in the United States of America, Canada, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Costa Rica., Hong Kong, Thailand, France and Saudi Arabia.

The Artist also hosts Photographic Tours where participants are assisted in skill development for both advanced and novice photographers.

The photographs offered by the artist are each custom printed using the latest archival print papers and archival inks. Each image is mounted using archival quality (acid-free) matt and mounting boards.

Proper care of these images will result in up to 75 years of image and material stability.
